First, we get to hike up to Takakkaw Falls to enjoy the mist of the second tallest waterfall in Canada. Then we visit the mesmerizing green waters of Emerald Lake and float on the crystal clear waters of one of FML's favourite lakes (and a Rockies hidden gem), all before getting settled at our private campsite, which is nestled in the beautiful mountains of YOHO.

Day 4: A day on the Kicking Horse River

Day four will have you screaming, "WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE!" We start the day with a whitewater rafting adventure that will leave your adrenaline pumping and excitement brewing. And if that wasn't enough, after a delicious lunch by the river, we've got a hike up to an FML gem, Wapta Falls where you will almost always find a rainbow to pose with. Day 5: Journey along Columbia Icefields Parkway

After breakfast, we pack up camp and get ready for one of the most beautiful drives in the country as we head to the Columbia Icefields Parkway. Running from Banff all the way to Jasper National Park, the Icefields Parkway features 232 km of mountain views from every direction and clear, blue waters to take a quick dip along the way. During our journey, we will be stopping at Bow Lake, Peyto Lake and visiting a glacier up close and personal before the night in our Jasper hostel.

Day 6: Explore Jasper National Park

It's time to get those hiking boots back on because we have mountains to climb! Day six is all about soaking in those oh-so-beautiful Rocky Mountain views. Get psyched for the Mount Edith Cavell hike which will leave you in awe of its flowery meadows, sky-scraping mountains and shimmering glaciers. And to keep the views going, enjoy a cruise along Maligne Lake to Spirit Island, taking you through the most beautiful peaks of the Canadian Rockies.

Day 7: Journey Back to Banff

Why?! Because you simply can't have enough time in Banff National Park!

We end the Canadian Rockies Explorer with a full circle moment so we can make sure we cover anything we might've missed on the way up. That includes visiting Athabasca Falls, Sunwapta Falls and of course one final FMLy dinner and night out in Banff Village.

Accommodation style:

  • Hostel in Banff

Day 8: Calgary Drop-Off

It's our final day together and we're trying our best to hold back our tears 'cause we're going to miss you! It's time to head to the village one last time for some free time to explore, shop and say goodbye to your FMLy before the drive back to Calgary for your 4 pm drop-off.

On the final drive back on Brent the Bus, we'll reminisce on our time together on the Canadian Rockies Explorer trip. *cue the waterworks*
